Horticulture AAS

Looking for a career that can grow with you?

In MCC’s Horticulture program, you’ll learn the essentials of hydroponics and aquaponics, floral and landscape design, plant biology, and sustainable practices. Through extensive practice in our hands-on greenhouse and floral design studio, you’ll come away with a solid knowledge of plant production and maintenance, ready for positions in flower shops, greenhouses, garden centers, farms, golf courses, parks, nurseries, turf, and landscape businesses, interiorscape maintenance companies, and the seed and supply industry.

Horticulture students can choose electives in floral design, greenhouse, landscape, and urban agriculture. Stackable certificates in floral design, garden management, entrepreneurial agriculture production, and entrepreneurial agriculture business and marketing are also available.
