Wisconsin Women in Conservation

Nurturing land. And ourselves.

WiWiC is a state-wide collaborative effort led by the Michael Fields Agricultural Institute in partnership with Renewing the CountrysideMarbleseed, and the Wisconsin Farmers Union.  A five-year multi-faceted project funded by the USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), WiWiC brings together Wisconsin women landowners to learn about conservation practices, resources, and funding opportunities.

WiWiC hosts learning circles, field days, webinars, happy hours and other networking events. We host a conservation-themed women-only Listserv, facilitate the WiWiC Conservation Educator Network and much more. Our mission is to empower, educate, and inspire women for the sake of the land and the wellness created through stewardship. We are building Regional Networks in the colored areas of the map, but events are open to all. See the Team page to connect with a Region. We are here to nurture land and ourselves. Join us!
