At Farmers Rising, we lift up the people doing local and regenerative farming.

​We create space for you to learn alongside other growers and farmers, improve your business and production skills,  and connect with eaters, partners and local food advocates of all ages and walks of life.

Our mission of building sustainable local food and farm systems where the people who work the land are honored, healthy food is a human right, and extractive food systems are dismantled puts us at the forefront of farmer training.

Farmers, you’re at the center of our mission. Get the support you need through our core training programs:

• Attend Farm Beginnings: a personalized, virtual entrepreneurship program for aspiring and beginning farmers to launch or level up their farm businesses.​
• Access farmland, farm equipment and technical support by farming on our Livestock Incubator at our Caledonia campus.
• Sell your products via IL EATS!
• Learn from your peer farmers at Upper Midwest CRAFT Events. We organize a variety of field days, workshops, and virtual events throughout the year with topics focusing on the core themes of soils, plants, animals, and people.

Farmer dreamers and supporters, you might not be ready to farm yourself but you also have an important role to play in transforming local food systems!

• Purchase delicious, organically grown food from our very own Farmers Rising Rockford CSA.
